The Old Armory Community Center and Fitness Room is situated in the historic community of Quality Hills, minutes from downtown Monroe. In addition to great fitness opportunities, the center has one large meeting room and a banquet room for rent when not being used for community events. Old Armory Community Center also offers several programs for youth, teens, and seniors.


Hours of Operation

  • Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

YWCA After-School Program

The after-school program offered at Old Armory Community Center is provided through a partnership with the YWCA. For more information regarding this program, please contact Kelcey Livingston at 704-282-5765.

  • Day: Monday through Friday, August through May
  • Time: After school to 6:30 pm
  • Fee: Free


Teen Programs

Old Armory Community Center provides a wide variety of teen programming. This facility provides a safe and fun place for teens to utilize. Programs are designed to benefit teens by providing activities that are not only fun but also assist them with planning for their bright futures!
