Stephen Freeman “A Tribute to Elvis”

Join Stephen and the Echoes of a Legend Show Band for their first appearance at the Dowd Center Theatre in Monroe, NC ! 

Stephen Freeman is originally from Thomasville, NC. He served as a police officer and private investigator for 8 years. Stephen’s tribute to Elvis Presley started professionally in 1998 and he has since performed in theaters all over the country, including multiple cruise ship performances.  Stephen was announced by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. as the Elvis Tribute Artist Fan Vote Poll Winner, as voted on by fans from all over the world for two consecutive years. In December of 2011 Stephen was named Tribute Artist of the Year by the CMA’s in Charlotte, NC. Stephen was further selected to perform on the official Elvis Cruise in January, 2012.  

In August of 2012 Stephen was named one of the top 10 Elvis Tribute Artists in the world at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest presented by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. While in Memphis that year, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. invited Stephen to showcase his tribute to Elvis at the all new main event pavilion during Elvis Week.  Since 2015 Stephen has appeared regularly as part of the Country Music Cruise with the Oak Ridge Boys, Kenny Rogers, Randy Owen, Martina McBride, Gatlin Brothers, Josh Turner, Charlie Pride and many others.
