The City of Monroe Water Resources Department has temporarily shut down a water main on N. Thompson St. to replace a line on Curtis Street.
Homes on North Thompson Street, Durant Street, and Carson Street will be without water service until Friday afternoon or early evening.
Homes on South Thompson Street should not be affected.
We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete this necessary work. Crews will work to restore service as quickly as possible.

After service is restored, you may experience air or discoloration in your water. If so, please call the number above and a Water Resources representative will respond promptly.
