January 11, 2025, marks the second year of operations at the Monroe Science Center. What a year it has been!
- We have had nearly 23,000 daily admission guests walk through our doors in 2024.
- 3,500 students visited the science center from surrounding schools in North and South Carolina.
- 1,500 guests came in organized groups from their communities.
- Over 1,000 guests visited to wish someone a "happy birthday" at one of our birthday parties.
- Over the past two years, we have had over 42,000 guests from 46 states, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
We are so proud to be part of this growing community and cannot wait to grow with it.
To give back to our community, we are offering free admission to all guests on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
We will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 18. No guests will be admitted after 4 p.m.
Capacity numbers will be monitored. Entry is not guaranteed.
