Construction is underway on Jefferson Street between Crawford Street and Bragg Street as crews replace a water main. Work is expected to continue through October 17.
During this time, drivers may encounter temporary road closures in the project area. Access will remain open for residents, businesses, deliveries, garbage collection, and emergency vehicles.
Neighbors in the area may also experience short interruptions to water service. The City will make every effort to notify customers in advance before any planned service disruptions.
The project will improve long-term water service for the community. Any streets, yards or property disturbed by the construction will be restored once work is complete.
