Facilities

Located minutes from Downtown Monroe, the Dickerson Recreation Complex offers several amenities to our community. Enjoy a leisurely walk down the Bearskin Greenway, challenge yourself on our 18-hole disc golf course, spend some quality family time at our picnic shelter and playground or take advantage of the many activities that take place within the Dickerson Recreation Center including a gymnasium, racquetball courts, and afterschool programs.

Hours of Operation

• Monday through Friday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: noon to 6 p.m.
• Sunday: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Dickerson After School

This program offers a wide range of activities for children to enjoy on a daily basis. We provide fun, educational, and cultural activities that your child will love! Students have the opportunity to take advantage of homework assistance and unwind from a long day at school. After homework is done, our staff and community partners provide fun and enriching activities that expose students to new and exciting opportunities. Activities include gardening classes, arts and crafts, gym games, team to building exercises, and much more!

Table Tennis

Table tennis is available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It costs $1 to play.

Parents' Night Out

Third Friday of every month, September through March
Drop your kids off with us and enjoy a night out or just relax. Our staff will provide supervised activities including pizza, a movie, and other fun gym activities!
