The Monroe Science Center provides a hands-on learning experience for children and adults alike.

What You Can Expect During Your Visit
- Once you enter the building, stop by the front desk to purchase your admission and receive your wristband for the day. You will have all-day access up to one hour before closing. The last tickets are sold one hour before closing, and no one will be let in after that time.
- We do not allow food or drinks inside the Monroe Science Center. Your wristband will allow you to take breaks at your leisure.
- The Monroe Science Center is self-guided, but the staff will happily answer your questions. Currently, all programming is included with admission.
- Parties with children under 14 years of age must stay together at all times for their safety. If your party has multiple children, we enforce a ratio of one adult (16 years of age and up) to 10 children.
- The Monroe Science Center is a learning environment. We ask guests to use their inside voices and not to run while in the center so everyone can have a safe and enjoyable time in the Monroe Science Center.
Admission Pricing
- Adults (15 and up): $10
- Children (2 to 14): $10
- Children under 2 years of age are free
- Seniors (60 and up): $9
- Military Rate: $9 (with valid ID)

- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday: Closed
- Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
Note: Last tickets are sold one hour before closing. No re-entry one hour before closing.

The MSC follows the same closure schedule as the City of Monroe and includes the following holidays.

Explore Pass Program
Are you a Union County Public Library cardholder? Check out the Explore Pass, our collaboration with Union County Public Library System (UCLS). You can check out the Explore Pass, just like you would a book, for a single-use complimentary entry for up to four guests.
Explore passes are available to the following library card types:

Group Visits
We are now taking group visit reservations. Daily group admission is limited. To help accommodate more groups, we are opening on Tuesdays for groups of 100 or more on a case-by-case basis. Request Forms must be submitted at least two weeks before your requested visit date.

Parking
The Monroe Science Center has free public parking. You may access the parking lot from East Franklin Street or East Windsor Street. There is designated bus parking for schools and groups visiting.
