Community Events
Aside from the regular monthly meetings and training, the Explorers assist police officers at all community-based events. Some of the functions that an Explorer may participate in are:
- Crime prevention and safety events
- Crowd control
- Directing traffic
- Finger printing children for I.D. kits
- Neighborhood gatherings
- Special City-sponsored events

The Explorers also conduct special fund-raising events, to raise money for trips, uniforms, equipment, and community projects.
