The Dowd Center Theatre is located in the 100 block of South Main Street in the heart of Historic Downtown Monroe, North Carolina. If you’re on Main Street in downtown you can’t miss the beautifully restored neon marquee. Directions and information on where to park are below. Downtown Monroe has nearly 350 on-street, two-hour parking spaces within walking distance of the Dowd Center Theatre. The spaces are governed by two-hour time limits, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Parking laws are strictly enforced.
In addition, downtown Monroe has more than 1,000 parking spaces in public parking lots for visitors planning to spend more time in the area.
