Primetime in the Parks: Elite Tournament is an eight-week basketball program in the spring.

Prime Time in the Parks is back with a new elite tournament for adults!

Primetime in the Parks: Elite Tournament is an eight-week basketball program designed to keep adults active, engaged, and safe during the springtime. Held every Tuesday and Thursday at Winchester Community Center, teams will compete in fast-paced 5-on-5 games, earning points each week towards playoff standings.

Get ready for Prime Time in the Parks, a brand-new 3-on-3 basketball tournament for ages 18 and up! Gather your team of 5 players and bring your game to the court for exciting competition, community, and fun.

This tournament takes place over 8 weeks at Winchester Community Center (1001 Winchester Avenue) in Monroe. Games are from 7 to 9 p.m. 

Registration

Registration is $75 per player. Attending the games is free.

Registration closes on March 8, 2026.

Follow these steps to register:

  1. Go to www.monroenc.org/rec1.
  2. Select Community Happenings
  3. Select Prime Time in the Parks.
  4. Log in or create an account on Rec1
    1. If you already have an account, sign in and continue.
    2. If not, create an account to proceed with registration.
  5. Proceed to Checkout
  6. Print the forms provided and fill in the required information.
  7. Submit your forms by emailing them to tlatimer@monroenc.org or dropping them off at Dickerson Community Center at 899 North Johnson Street.
